Well... we had a huge plot twist to our wedding planning journey yesterday when the church caught on fire and the chapel was completely destroyed.

.
Despite the horrific fire, there is so much we have to be thankful for...
1️⃣No lives were lost, and we witnessed our community and first responders unite and demonstrate what true teamwork looks like.
2️⃣ THOUSANDS of non-believers got to observe how Christians react when faced with a trial, and that my friend, is one of the greatest witnessing tools.
3️⃣ We were able to book another BEAUTIFUL chapel within one hour of learning that Faith Chapel was a complete loss. (That’s not always easy to do when the wedding date is less than 2 months away.)
4️⃣We were able to stop the production of the invitations (which were going to be engraved yesterday), and have the location changed on them.
5️⃣ However, as you can see from these pictures, at the end of the day, God is control and more powerful than any storm in our lives could ever be... It’s the Cross that still stands when everything else is tarnished and collapsed. ✝️
